Windows hangs shutting down


















Now I did this after disconnecting all drives with exception to the system drive and then tried the system and it did not hang. I then added each of four additional drives including a DVD drive, one by one and each time I did that the system shut down properly. So it could also be that is what solved the problem if the Bios change does not fix it for you.

I hope that someone benefits by this. I am not so computer savy. I usually get automatic updates installed in my computer. I turned the laptop off last night and it showed I needed some updates, well I let it run the updates. It showed there were 13 updates, but it got stuck in number 7. I don't know but then again I know this might sound crazy but it started to go bad the moment I started feeling sick then it stoped the day I stoped feeling sick these are crazy theories but what else proof is there?
