The dice is then passed along to the next Pig player. As mentioned already, the first player to reach or more points is the winner. When a player reaches a total of or more points, the game ends and that player is the winner. This is a very simple game to learn, yet teaches a lot of things. Primarily, basic addition is practiced as they add up the numbers on the die. Finally, like most games, children will learn to take turns while playing Pig. If you choose, you can even work in a moral lesson about the dangers of being too greedy.

This variation is pretty much played the same as standard Pig. Roll two dice at a time and, if one of the dice is a 1, the turns as usual and no points are added to the overall score. If the two dice show different numbers when rolled, simply add up the numbers. You keep rolling until you decide to stop, or until you roll a 1. You may choose to stop at any time. If you roll a 1, your score for that turn is 0. If you choose to stop rolling before you roll a 1, your score is the sum of all the numbers you rolled on that turn.
